As I'm sure most of the community knows by now the vex mythoclast is very underwhelming in PVE. In PVE the mythoclast is only effective if you are fighting lower tier enemies if you are constantly scoring headshots the second you face a higher tier enemy it turns into a water pistol. This should not be the case for a primary raid exotic that is supposed to give up high ammo counts and high ammo drop rates for very high power at the moment its legendary counterparts vision of confluence and fate bringer completely outclass it. also the vestian dynasty side arm at 331 atk does more damage than a 365 mythoclast seriously wtf? A pistol is out damaging a weapon that is supposed to be a close to short range powerhouse and at a lower atk stat. If that doesn't tell you how underpowered the mythoclast is in PVE then I don't know what will. Below is a list of things I believe should be changed about the mythoclast. 1. The mythoclast should have its original base damage restored and have its crit modifier changed back to how it was originally in PVE. 2. The mythoclast should have its cone of fire reduced in PVE. 3. The mythoclast should get the oracle disruptor perk or a perk that increases its damage against vex majors by 3-5% ( To be honest mind I would be satisfied if it just got its old base power back in PVE in PVP its fine the way it is) 4. The mythoclast should have it's lightweight perk swapped for something like single point sling or quick draw as light weight is a dreadful perk. At least that's how I feel about it I'm not going to lie the mythoclast is hands down my favourite weapon in any video game to date and it annoys me that it's PVE potential has been stripped from it thanks to whiny PVP players who can't take being killed in a game. To be honest though it was a bit ridiculous in PVP it could 3-4 shot people at sniper range lol.
