Easiest way to get the hawkmoon?
Can anyone give me advice on how to get the hawkmoon.

Random is as random does. Its RNG and there is no way to influence it, apart from killing Xlar The Timeless, then the exotic drop rates go overtime for 4 hours after

I have had 4 drop for me in Crotas End.

3 RepliesPut your finger inside a condom, stretch a rubber band around the bottom of your finger so that it closes up the condom on your finger. (The gorgon chest once & Atheon twice assuming you do normal first & then hard) CE: Three exotic chances a week per character. (The Deathsinger once & Crota twice assuming you do normal first & then hard) 2.) Prison of Elders... The big chest in the treasure room. Provided you have the treasure keys, you can open this as many times as you please for an exotic drop. You can get a guaranteed treasure key once per week per character by turning in your first completed Wanted bounty to Petra. 3.) Trials of Osiris... Reaching the Lighthouse on Mercury gives you an exotic chance via the chest. The gold tier packages from brother Vance have a chance to drop an exotic as well. I'm not very knowledgable on Trials so I'm not sure how many times this can be done a week, but I'm assuming it's once per character. 4.) Weekly Nightfall... Exotics regularly drop from the NF. 5.) Strikes / Crucible / 28 POE I've seen exotics drop in all these. If you're going to grind strikes, I would do the Vanguard Dragon (level 28 variants) as they seem to have the highest exotic drop rate. You can get exotics from the crucible as well. I got my second Hawkmoon from a control match. POE 28 has a similar reward system to strikes as everyone gets a reward at the end. You don't need a treasure key for this. My friend got a Thunderlord a couple days ago from a post game reward on level 28. 6.) Xur... Hawkmoon and the rest of the year one PS exclusives are coming to Xbox when TTK drops. This means that Hawkmoon along with the other two weapons will presumably be added into Xurs inventory allowing them to be sold. I hope I helped (: Edit: Any legendary primary weapon engrams you get have a very small chance to decrypt into a Hawkmoon (or any exotic primary)

There is no secret, you can develop methods of farming exotics but you cannot rig the outcome specifically to earn one in particular, sorry

I got one from the nightfall just before it ended I said to my team I haven't got any of the ps exotics yet someone on Xbox will likely get hawk moon before I do. So try that lol

Just do nightfall, VOG and Crota. I just got my monte carlo by doing Crota when we killed the deathsinger.

It has a secret perk that each additional one you have increases your chance of getting another one. GHorn has the same perk.
