Pocket Infinity has been my favourite exotic since I got it (owned it since before the nerf), I have even come to name it Pockets for short. I love joining a new team to have them ask me if I am sure that I am rolling with it in hesitation only to have them cheer in surprise and regret any doubts after a game of trials.
I was playing PoE and noticed that by killing Qodron's Eye to get the ability for destroying the bubbles that Pockets had changed the element from solar to void. I was able to gather proof in the video above but I apologize for the potato quality.
I am certain that this was implemented for a reason due to the fact that the Pocket Infinity is a vex weapon, my best lead is the weapons description:
"You cannot shake the feeling that this is less a weapon than a doorway."
What if the fusion rifle could be used as a key to open something in this jail breaker state? That is only my theory but I need the help of you fellow guardians to solve it, I hope it doesn't turn out to be nothing.

It stayed solar. :/

My PI glitches out every time I use it. Instead of auto-fire, it acts like a normal fusion gun. 2 seconds to charge & it fires one shot. Completely worthless.
-
PI is not a vex weapon per say. the guardians tried to but a weapon to mimic the vew mytho and the PI is what they came up with

Only exotic weapon I don't have. Keep getting thorn, bad juju, and invective bounties smh

er no. just no bungie doesn't have that much depth to their weapons maybe a secret perk or two on the odd exotic (thunderlord for example) but not something. besides they would of included it in house of wolves if that was the case a HoW boss with a HoW counter exoctic

3 RepliesPlease teach me the ways of using it in PvP. It has always been one of my favorite exotics and it just doesn't feel as good as my legendary one.

It secretly fires miniature dwarves that build explosive doorways, and those dwarves are called pocket dwarves, and there are infinite of them, hence the name pocket infinity
science bitch
Edited by BunkerGATE13: 8/19/2015 8:53:20 AMI like how you can fire a rocket instantly with it too. However I don't see any change. Color blind mode?

5 RepliesDoesn't look like it changed to void. There's some discoloration on the bolts when it fires, but its not triggering the void dissolve animation when you kill an enemy, nor is the symbol for the gun changing from void to solar. That fight is buggy in general. I used a fatbringer/icebreaker combo, and my element types changed from the typical arc/solar symbols to question marks. Don't know what it meant, but nothing has a shield so there's no way to know if Qudron simply has the power to take your weapon's elemental powers away. (Though that would be interesting)
