Titans and Warlocks get shields for their supers. I don't find it fair when I'm running at you with a knife and you can shoot me down so easily, but you can come back to life and punch me once and I'm dead.

Blade dancer gets a shield. Hp is about 250 to 280. The gun slinger doesn't get a shield though.
-
I main a hunter and they do get extra armor while in super mode, not sure about golden gun because you kill enemy on 1 shot. Personally I feel the titan unstoppable perk is op I mean it's unstoppable, golden gun shots don't even damage it and it's a 1 time use like nova bomb so it should not be the 1 thing in the game that doesn't die. Problem with the hunter super that people don't see is that it lasts so you take damage over time, but maybe to even it out radiant skin should be so powerful either
-
Because they have so much agility.
-
They do.
-
Bladedancers already get 2x health and golden guns seriously???? You really think that shit needs an over shield? Ha. And FYI the warlock and Titan especially get massive over shields/health boosts because we use our super once. We don't use it and then get 6-7 smashes/nova bombs you tard. Hunters are already the best pvp class. Deal with it.

Blade dancer get damage reduction. Golden gun does not, however, it's balanced because those supers are high risk/ high reward. A talented blade dancer can wipe out a whole team, but it's quiet difficult for a warlock or Titan to wipe out a whole team, even if they are all sitting at the heavy because most people are wary of people supering heavy and ready to counter or get out the way.

Um...hunters do get shields on arc blade. If we are just talking GG, it doesn't affect me often.
-
You get hungering blade what more is there to be op ?
-
Hmmm idk because hunters are supposed to be fast and agile? You can't be fast and agile and be weighted down with armor like the titan is. Remind me again why you're running directly at a tank with a knife? I don't know who the hell you think you are.....you're not.
-
Hunters are suppose to be like ninjas. Titans are suppose to be like tanks, and warlocks are mages. Why would ninjas get shields?
-
I have one of each, I really think the warlock has more of an advantage in pvp. I agree that the hunter gets the short straw.
-
You do realize you said you don't find it fair that you can run at someone with a knife and they can shoot you down right? Lol The simple reason is because they don't need it. Hunters are so mobile if they had a shield to go with it nothing would ever stop them.
-
Because your mobile. We are not.

1 ReplyI play hunter too, I don't think we need more protection, it's just the others have far too much. Fist of havoc is used when arc blading and one hits us. Plus they can survive rockets no problem. Warlocks Nova gives them massive damage range and shield that if theyre looking at you you have no chance of survival. It's not that hunters are squishy, it's just they're both got very tanky supers

Not to mention, you can kill one person and get full health. Golden gun doesn't I guess because of the kill potential and range of it.

Hell no that would be crazy as -blam!-

As a hunter, I feel ya, but here's why. The rogue class has traditionally had the overall worst defenses, but the greatest damage output. The mages are more versatile and powerful in very specific situations, coupled with a fantastic magic defense (recovery/shields). The warrior has always been the tank/breaker. While they do decent damage, warriors are more known for setting up tactical plays for their rogue counterparts which are supported by various mages. Though Destiny doesn't implement this quite as traditionally as other games, they do stay true to the core features. Long story short, as a Hunter, kill them before they kill you. As a Titan, try to drag out the fight and end it suddenly with a big attack. As a Warlock, lob everything you've got in the target's general area and you'll probably kill the majority, but left victim to potential cool down fire. Unfortunately, these are easier said than done as there is very little difference between the three main classes.

1 ReplyHunters have far higher kill potential, that's why you don't have much in the way of damage reduction. Bladedancers initially had a shield that was on par with the other subclasses when it was activated. But it was quickly nerfed when it became obvious they were scything though entire teams unscathed and that versus other supers, the extra shielding was a little much in the way of overkill. You still have damage reduction - it's enough to soak up a rocket or shotgun melee most of the time... Golden gun is far too easy to use to warrant a shield.

Hunters take the most skill
-
Hunters are real men, they don't need shields.

1 ReplyBladedancers kinda do lol

2 RepliesAm I the only one that thinks the classes are balanced??

Because Hunters or not meant to be defensive, agile and hunting.
