Dude, don't listen to the scrubs with their 0.7k/d's recommending thorn. Go with The Last Word. It has the quickest kill time of any gun in pvp and out guns the Thorn period. Trust me

Aside from exotics, I'd recommend Fulcrum from FWC with braced frame and luck in the chamber. If you're lucky, maybe even with final round. Red Hand IX from New Monarchy is pretty solid as well. My Red Hand IX is pre-HoW though so I wouldn't be able to recommend the best roll for it.

HAWKMOON TLW is not consistent becoz of its recoil. HAWKMOON outguns it in the end. I have both.

Right now, the best combos in the game are probably thorn and a shotgun or last word and a sniper

I use TLW, Thorn, Jewel of Osiris, Fatebringer, Timurs Lash. Just depends on map selection.

1 ReplyDepends on map size and configuration. If the map has longer sight lines, then Thorn. If it's a shorter sight line map, then TLW. Thorn can snipe from across a large map, but TLW can destroy at close to medium range. Nothing beats TLW when it comes to time to kill for HCs.

If you have skill with both, I recommend tlw. I'm not skilled with tlw but I'm pretty good with thorn, so that's my choice for hunting season
