So I just got Dark Souls (one)
This is my first time playing it, my cheeks are ready. I only ask; what class should I start out with? Some menial tips would help too.

Don't listen to the others. Don't pick up a shield, they only slow you down and make you play overly protective. Grab a falchion and 2-Hand it. R1 yourself to NG+++++ my friend.
