Is there any defense against rocket launchers?
Might be a nill topic, but is there any class that has defense or a counter defense against across the map rockets?
Soon as the heavy spawns the games always turn into jumping with rockets repeatedly
Anyone?
***Edit: Within 15 min min of posting this, I get a Ash Factory drop with "grenades & horseshoes"... LMAO

Blink seems to be most effective, thats the only "build" i know that might help Think its pretty much 1hk no matter what

5 RepliesHere's what you do, instead of being so desperate for the quick and easy 2 or 3 kills, equip a heavy machine gun and just avoid EVERYONE for a minute or 2 until you hear no more explosions. Then you can go on an absolute fcuking rampage and destroy any little fcuker that gets in your way.

Doors. I let people try and shoot me and run away, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. it's a rocket.

Well... across the map rockets should be easy to avoid... just run away... but besides that, blink might be able to save you at times, or if you are out in the open without blink just jump up high and hope for the best.

Blink or super with the increased survivability bonus. I've survived or seen people survive rockets by casting novabomb or foh a s a rocket hit. Also bladedancers don't get 1 shot by a rocket in their super. Not sure if sunsinger can survive one without radiant skin.

If you have truth shoot it in their general direction but look up into the sky in that direction, do it as soon as you have heavy if you have the shot. It'll curve like hell and you'll get a double or triple depending on how fast you move. Other wise pop a bubble in the. Idle of the map and harbor teammates, jump straight out of it for potshots against the enemy.

As they say, the best defense is a good offense. Shoot them before they shoot you. Of course that's easier said than done.

1 ReplyWard of dawn, self res (unless they have/shoot another rocket) Quickly hiding behind a large enough obstacle. Shooting it maybe (I believe it is possible, [i]if[/i] so, it requires pinpoint aim and sharp reflexes
