How did you obtain your Hawkmoon?
Well how did you? I got mine last Sunday after going 8-1 in the trials. After turning in the Silver & Gold Tier packages the RNG gods smiled upon me and blessed me with a Hawkmoon! :D [spoiler] As well as the Tomorrow's Answer Rocket Launcher [/spoiler]

I got it from Crota. I screamed like hell, plus I was really sick at the time so I sounded like some little kid... Not embarrassed, though. There was nothing I wanted more in Destiny at the time, and now I have 2 of them maxed out.

VoG gorgon chest and then we continued to atheon and after returning to the tower i had a second hawkmoon in my postmaster. 3rd was from deathsinger, 4th from pvp, 5th from trials and 6th from nightfall. I ended up dismantling 4 of them though lol
