Merrrr, can you name many games that haven't been a disappointment when compared to your expectations? People trash Destiny like it's the only game in existence, fact is is that there's other games out there too. Destiny is great, there's better games, there's worse game. Play them all, don't spend ALL your time with 1 game and you'll never feel the need to trash it.
This is more of a response to the attitude associated with Destiny these days, not aimed at you specifically!

I loved Destiny, the game play is great. what I'm disappointed in is how Bungie keeps backtracking you can grow with your gear, your gear is obsolete, now its good again the blatant disrespect they have shown towards their players I would say I'm more disappointed in their attitude than I am with the game

I don't mind having to get new weapons. I don't wanna use the same weapons for 10 years, or look the same for that matter.

I don't either, but I want to find a better weapon and naturally gravitate towards using it not just have the gear I spent hours grinding for to just get nerfed or become obsolete and really, I expected to start fresh I'm Destiny 2 anyway, big difference between carrying weapons over to the next game, and carrying them through an expansion
