Remember when people used to defend Thorn?
I wonder where they are now... What they are thinking...
But people still defend TLW, which saddens me. :(
Inb4 Thorn and TLW users coming to defend their guns and downvote this post

TLW won't be so bad once they fix the bug...I've been getting 2 shot killed all weekend by TLW. My understanding is that TLW does the bonus precision hipfire damage while ADS. Someone told me its when you snap to aim at someone's head. Whatever the case is, it's bugged and once they fix it, I won't have a problem with it. As for thorn, the crucible will be better once The Weapon balance patch comes out...I'll still be using hawkmoon as opposed to the other 2 exotic hand cannons but I'll also be using Monte Carlo a lot more

They should just buff the guns they nerfed. None of Bungies nerfs have affected the game in a positive way. Buffs are a fantastic idea, nerfs are not. Undoing their mistakes would level the playing field.

I have both and use both in PvP but I'm happy they're getting a nerf. I'm forced to use them or else I will get completely destroyed. (Red death doesnt kill them fast enough)

4 RepliesSo I started playing this game week 2 after launch and with over 2000 hours played you would think I'd be pretty well versed in just about every facet of it. Last week I learned that TLW is fully automatic... :| I used to defend it before that. I still think Thorn needs a nerf just as badly but now I understand why TLW is just as broken.

3 RepliesI was thorn defender because I worked to get that gun, Butttt, I argued that you can beat the typical thorn user because a lot of people using it are garage. That there's ways to counter them. I mean most of the time they just camp a zone from the same spots over and over again. I can kill them from across the map with a scout, or I will rush them with a shotgun. The key is to take cover and sit when you get hit, sitting takes the tick away. I will out gun them but they will not get post Mortem off of me. And if I see a lot of thorn /tlw in a match, I will bring out my thorn and wreck havoc.

Thorn was my first piece of gear that was better than Blue. I've been using it since October on my Hunter. I did the bounty by myself since nobody wanted to help someone who wasn't fully Legendary or could run VoG. I've been using from when it was the worst weapon in the game, then after the buff, and I've been using it ever since But I don't play Crucible because of drop rates rewarding those who don't play
