Do you guys think the Triumphs emblem will be something to be coveted, or will it be common as dirt? The Triumphs were kind of easy, but there are some people who don't have enough consecutive time to beat Skolas, etc.
Just a thought.
Edit: Another question. Will you be using the emblem when TTK comes out?
Edit 2: Wow! Over 600 replies. Thanks for all your input!
Edit 3: I have reached 1,000 replies! You guys are awesome.

with how much crying I've seen and heard to remove Skolas from the triumphs, I'm pretty sure it wont be that common. There's a chance that it might not be all that great when we get it but it will definitely be something to covet later on down the line. will I use it? probably. I like the way it looks so I'll probably bounce between that one and my beta emblem.

It depends on how many new people come in the taken King, and the destiny community is mostly elitists who don't take kindly to noobs they are diffidently going to get scared off, thus I conclude that no, it won't be rare. I will be cool though, kinda like the trials emblem.
-
Not as rare as the "Make it Rain" emblem.
-
I'm still gonna wear my flawless emblem

5 RepliesIt's going to be like skillcapes in RuneScape now; everyone and their mothers are going to have them.
-
Everyone will have the triumphs emblem so it won't be cool for a while
-
It'll seem really common at first. Over time it'll be harder to find, though. If this series is going to last ten years, it will be something to be coveted by the end of our journey.
-
its only gonna be a thing year3 and above.

So I've seen some people comment that a little under 20% of players have done the hard mode raids. My question on that statistic is what percentage of the remaining ~80% actually still play regularly. How many are people that played the base story line and put the game down never to be picked up again? How many pick it up only to play through the expansion stories? In other words. What is the actual percentage of people who actually play Destiny that have completed the activities on question.
-
most people will use it for a couple days but im sure TTK will have alot of new emblems so it will disappear quickly.
-
Not rare at all. Maybe in Destiny Year 5 and up, the emblem will hold some true meaning.
-
Since Xür has sold Gjallarhorn.... Extremely common now.
-
It'll probably be like the veteran stuff. Common as dirt this year. Little less the next, much more rare after
-
3 RepliesWhat was the last estimate for raid completions? I think 19% of all players meaning slightly under 1/5 of players will have the emblem, add to that actually having to beat both on hard mode plus defeat Skolas, we are looking even lower so would guess 10-15% of total players.
-
Eh it's more of a "I'm a year one player" type of thing so off the back it won't be rare but it's meant for future reminiscence as a way to remember what you did.
-
4 RepliesDeej won´t have that emblem by the looks of it.
-
I saw stats saying only a small percentage has done raids or Skolas. Unless people have started knocking those out finally, I'd say it will be fairly rare.
-
It's amazing how everyone says they don't have the time or interests to find all the golden chest, but they have the time and interests to spend an hour doing Skolas even though the rewards are disgusting.

This.

3 RepliesWhat does the Emblem look like??
-
Somewhat rare most won't wear it, I will be beating Skolas this week (been holding off for something to still look forward too) I will wear mine for a while at first for the taken babies
-
Unless it looks great, no one's going to be wearing it. Perhaps those who truly struggled with Skolas will want to wear it. Overall though, I don't think it will be viewed as something special by the community.
-
I think it will be rare for those who have to LFG everything in this game. If you have friends to play with for every occasion, acquiring the Triumphs shouldn't be a problem.
-
It'll be extremely common on these forums, but you'll likely see one every once in a while when you're at the Tower.
