Must you wear Gloohoo to STAND A CHANCE for The Crux?
I know it must be on hard. And you can't do normal. Must do hard straight. But is wearing Glowhoo a compulsory requirement?
Plus can I farm it in other characters?

Actually, you can do normal, and not wear glowhoo. I did normal to get a black hammer and my first crux on the same character that week while wearing arctic proxy.

4 RepliesIt's funny because I thought this was bull shit the while time. I did countless hard raids without doing normal and never got the crux. I did over 50 raids. My clan mate said put on all cosmetic crota gear. The ship shader and emblem. I did that then boom got the crux. Luck or coinsidence?

Never did wear the glowhoo when I got the crux

I've received 4 Crux of Crota out of 86 raids during Crota's End and not once did I wear Glowhoo. I wore Revenant and Queen's Web though. Lol

Not mandatory, got one the other day and have never warned glowhoo for more than a few seconds.

Glowhoo is superior and is yes it is mandatory for the crux as well as any other exotic in the game

I think you have to have the crota normal rewards on your character though

Nope :) good luck. Took me months and I saw many guardians get the Crux before me. Even saw 3 drop in one run before. No need for Glowhoo.

Crota hard once per character per week. No shader needed.

You need to obtain Glowhoo before the Crux will drop, but you don't need to wear it.
