My friends and I played a match of ToO against a team that was extremely suspicious.
First, my friend got booted as soon as the match started. He had to reboot his Xbox 360. He did not get a loss marked against him in his passage.
Then. after a couple of rounds, I also get booted, but only to the main Destiny screen. My passage showed that I had a loss.
The 3rd member of our fireteam managed to stay on till the end, but he lost the match.
After this, I looked on DestinyTracker and the opposing players have won every round via DNF (did not finish, i.e. disconnects). The 3rd fireteam member who managed to stay in the match, used the in-game reporting function to report them.
However, myself and the 1st fireteam member who was booted can not use the in-game reporting function because the "previous match" screen is no longer available once you are booted from the match. I could only use the Xbox reporting function, and I don't think Xbox is serious about tracking down cheaters.
I think the in-game reporting system is broken when it can't be used to report when real cheating is occurring.
