Any Soul Caliber fans out there?
I'm a pretty big fan of the franchise and I want to ask some of you if you guys also enjoy this series. Who's your favorite character? Fighting style? What console? Discussion of anything SC is open here!
My favorite is Nightmare but probably Seifried fighting style. I play on PS3 for SC5 and I used to play on ps2 for SC2.

Ivy is one of the hardest characters to master and they completely changed her. I put so much work into her that when I realized what Namco had done I was officially burnt out. I mained Mitsurugi for SC 4 a bit though. His move set was not exciting enough to keep me engaged for long, though. And honestly I got tired of all the Nightmare players...

I can play every character well but I've always been partial to Mitsurugi. Li Long was awesome!...why did he get replaced?...the world may never know. I watch the original Soulblade intro on YouTube every now and then. Gives me the feels.

Souls calibur 4 I think was the best. 5 got really slow and clunky.

Edited by SpaceDandy: 8/17/2015 4:29:54 PMWhile I can't relate in detail, my old friend had Soul Caliber on his PS3, and I loved it. Pretty much just fought each other. Even have a cool memory from it. Quick version: both my friend and I attacked one another at the same time; me doing a low slide attack, and him doing an airborne kick attack. This caused him to jump over me as I slid below, and our characters quickly turned around on recovery and we continued our intense battle. We flipped so hard... Always cool to see things like that just work sometimes.

My favorite was Taki back on Soul Blade on Playstation, Mitsurugi was a close 2nd. Ive played very little of the new versions but im interested in Ivy i think her name was. With the whip sword.

2 RepliesFavorite character would have to be Pyrrha Omega. Favorite fighting style is either here, normal Pyrrha, Viola, or Elysium. Unfortunately I've only played V, but I read the story on the wiki.
