Crux of crota? Do you need eris mourn rank 4?
Hi all, I hear the necrochasm is getting a big buff in TTK, so how do I get the crux of crota, I have Eidon ally, I have glowhoo shader, do I need to be a particular rank with eris or could I switch over to my hunter who I have never done crota with and have a chance of the crux dropping? Do I need the Eidon ally equipped or in inventory etc?
Help much appreciated :)

I didn't even have a husk and 2 crux dropped for me in a row, After 100 raid completions

I had RNG give me 2 Gallys each week, but I cant get the Crux still...... And that is since TDB came out.

1 ReplyCrux requires a Crota Hard single completion. It can drop for that character on hard-mode-only anytime in the future. Nothing else is a requirement.

5 RepliesAs long as you have completed Crotas End Hard Mode at least once on that specific character, there are no other prerequisites. I received my crux the 2nd week hard mode was available. Please dont believe any of this other garbage about having to have specific gear or shaders to get the crux to drop. It is completely RNG as are most of the item drops in this game. Good luck fellow Guardian.

Nothing special. Just keep running Crota Hard each week. I have 3 extra cruxes that I'm holding onto for no reason at all. Already have necro completed as well. Ring has been good to me.

Fill your inventory with shaders and run hard Crota after each reset.

Just make sure you have Glowhoo in your inventory , otherwise it'll just keep giving you the shader. Other than that just keep running HM.

It dropped for someone I was playing with the other day after putting Crota down on hard. The Crux is the only Crota gear I need.

2 RepliesI raided HM crota twice tonight, and it dropped once for one player and twice for two different players, no prerequisites, so far as I know. I'll try to get it again next week.

I think its based off of your crota inventory. Theres many theories out there on how to increase its drop. But i didnt get mine until I had the Emblem, Class item, shader, all the armor, and a Crota Primary,secondary and Heavy equipped. Then i finally got it. Some people say they have gotten it while they had a min of the shader emblem and class item.
