If you use icebreaker in PvP.
I just assume you're a first time sniper learning to snipe. Why else would you use a sniper with training wheels? (Regenerates ammo so there's very little penalty to missing and stupid high amounts of aim assist.)
Edit: if you're going to respond ignorantly make sure your stats back up your mouth.
Edit: used icebreaker tonight a few games and confirmation has come in... It's easy mode I was getting 15+ kills without ever switching weapons. Tell me how that makes sense?

I use it because it makes it easy to consistently take out bladedancers and other supering enemies without worrying about ammo

I find myself using patience and time a lot more now. Not so much for the camo but for the field scout/sound it makes when you shoot

3 RepliesI love to snipe. I've been sniping in the crucible since the beta and I like to change it up as far as what sniper I use. Sometimes it's Her Benevolence, lately it's been Ephrideet's Spear (and no, I don't use final round), sometimes I use Ice Breaker, sometimes I use Praedyth's. My point is, I paid for this game, and I'll use whatever damn sniper I want to use.

I assume there are those that use a sniper rifle that can challenge themselves, but a person choosing not to pass up on an advantage can also be called wise or smart. Purposefully passing an advantage to challenge [b]YOURSELF[/b] is something you do for [b]YOURSELF[/b]. Not to brag to others and it's not something you measure others by. It's an intrinsic... internal... choice. It's for you and about you... you... and you only. So, please, don't condem others for not choosing a path that is for you and about you. It's a personal challenge, not a community one.

To be honest , it doesn't matter what anyone kills anyone with because someone is always unhappy with their selection choice . Today was just the Ice breaker's day. Tomorrow it will be something else. I wish I could gather up all these topics and have everyone do a jelly bean count on how many there must be.

I use IB but my primary is messenger, so I just use that most of the time. I only use IB for sniping heavy , being rushed or hip fire. Right now I don't think IB is easy mode. Thorn and tlw are that. Besides special is still too common.
