If you use icebreaker in PvP.
I just assume you're a first time sniper learning to snipe. Why else would you use a sniper with training wheels? (Regenerates ammo so there's very little penalty to missing and stupid high amounts of aim assist.)
Edit: if you're going to respond ignorantly make sure your stats back up your mouth.
Edit: used icebreaker tonight a few games and confirmation has come in... It's easy mode I was getting 15+ kills without ever switching weapons. Tell me how that makes sense?

Because its a fun weapon to use, why go tryhard mode in some skirmish with tlw or thorn?

It also has too much zoom for most pvp encounters which why I don't like it in crucible

I have to say though, there aren't many things more satisfying in the Crucible than headshotting Guardians with a white sniper. Man oh man does that feel good. Just a pure trail of smoke and a bullet through the skull, you can't ask for more than that.

To be honest, Icebreaker is one of the few snipers I can do well with. When I equip and use it in PvP, it just feels like home for some reason. It's my go to now, I love it.

I use icebreaker but I absolutely suck in crucible. Like I'm pretty sure a blind donkey could kill me. None the less I use it to try and get better at sniping(which doesn't take much)

2 RepliesLol, aim assist does next to nothing on snipers. If you think that it does, you obviously don't snipe often. Besides, there are PLENTY of other snipers that have higher aim assist. So your saying that I can't use icebreaker because I don't want to wait 2 minutes between special? I honestly think your just mad that you make dumb mistakes over and over and keep getting sniped by the icebreaker. Move on.

You could say the same about: Thorn TLW INVECTIVE Any sniper with final round Gyallerhorn And previously Vex and Suros. You would be hard pressed to find a Crucible match were none of these weapons feature. Don't be mad cos people use the weapons that bungie made, find something that suits your playstyle and then get even :)

3 RepliesYou have pretty good stats and that shows ur a pretty good pvp player. One would say you would know what you are talking about.. Icebreaker is not an wast weapon to control. It has low stability, high zoom so not easy for cqc and it's aim assist is mediocre. So I'd you can handle this weapon and have easy kills with it, it must meen you are pretty damn good. Imo

When I ran out off ammo in my LDR I switch to icebreaker and I eventually switch back to my LDR when I can get ammo for it.
