Xur Reputation Idea
So after reading all the ridiculous petitions and comments about Xur I think I found a solution, A Reputation System. Note some of the following feedback came from other concerned Guardians
Reputation can be gained through:
- Killing Raid Bosses, killing Nightfall Bosses, killing Majors and Ultras, Crucible Kills
- Special Agent of the IX Bounties
Rank 1: Access to Exotic Engrams, Synths, and Misc. Items
Rank 2: Access to Armor
Rank 3: Access to Weapons
Every time you level above rank 3, you received a package allowing you access to Xur Special Inventory which can be sought after items (like Ghally) or even Agent of IX Shaders, Ships, or Emblems.

It would be like iron banana but if you got past rank 3 it would only drop to 2, and also every time you rank up past 4 for would get a package containing a random exotic engram (weapons would be rare to get out of the packages)

Maybe you could pick up the bounties from the bounty tracker, on a separate page with all the possible rewards and/or bounties. The page also shows your rep.

1 ReplyMaybe, but it seems a bit weird for you to need to get ALL that rep in a day or two, if you could build it up from the beginning of the week I think it could be cool, but shaders? Hellz yah!

And each rank you progress to can increase your chances for good drops guaranteeing people who put in the effort get the best weapons.
