AA does almost nothing with snipers in Destiny.

It's very noticeable on benevolence versus say efrideet's. You can feel your shots snap into headshots significantly easier. I used to only use efrideet's and tried a benevolence with hidden hand, it was very apparent the aim assist was up.

For me it can feel like it does. .but before destiny I was playing kzsf which has zero aim assist so it's kind of a drastic transition.

It does on occasion pull your crosshairs always from the intended target
