I killed a level 4 dreg, it dropped a legendary engram that was decoded into a G'horn. If you receive coins from running, and killing, in the weekly heroic or PoE I see no difference. The coins were "earned" from killing enemies as the engram was "earned" from killing enemies. I'm using "earn" to make a point. The only items you can actually "earn" are the exotics gained from mentor missive bounties. I'd go so far to say that the items you receive from going flawless are "earned" to a certain degree. Everything else is luck, just as hitting the lottery is luck. I apologize for the wall of words but I'm so tired of seeing the "earn" you G'horn. Bottom line is you "earn" by putting in "work" if it's "fun" it's not "work"

Your post was well written. It's refreshing to see that there really are level headed people on these forums. All this talk of "earning" is ridiculous. It's a game we play for fun, at least I do, not a way to make some kind of social statement. If your G'horn was the only thing separating you from the rest of the pack.....you're doing it wrong. I'm glad to see all the guardians that have been playing for a year, without that one lucky drop, finally able to get the weapon they so righteously deserve #notears
