Best Pulse Rifle for Crucible (PvP) that will be relevant in TTK?
I have a few trains of thought here. The major thought is this... in my opinion, it probably makes sense to use the same load-out in standard PvP (no damage differential) as it does in Iron Banner & Trials of Osiris (damage counts). This way you are practicing with what you're going to run with.
I have been plugging away for the Hopscotch Pilgrim with no luck. HOWEVER, once TTK drops.... the Hopscotch Pilgrim will only be relevant in standard PvP (no damage differential). You won't be able to use it in Banner or Trials because the new weapons will outclass it.
With that being said, I'm wondering if it makes sense to focus more on Red Death or Bad JuJu until the newer/better pulse rifles drop with TTK.
I also see the 55A-AllFATE as being a solid pulse rifle with the right roll for current PvP stuff until TTK drops.
What is your opinion on Pulse rifles and how to best approach your next go-to Crucible weapon for The Taken King expansion?

Find myself going back and forth between Bad JuJu and Red Death. Seems that Red Death performs a little better on the tighter maps where you need a faster time-to-kill and Bad JuJu is good for the more open areas/maps. I'm thinking 55A-ALLFATE will be a good middle ground until something better comes along in TTK.
