I've seen threads like this before and I always agree, it'd be an interesting mission.
The first time thru the mission plays normally, and eventually you get another mission to recover the fallen guardian, leaving his helmet as a marker. Set it up like a dinklebot opening a door mission, except your providing cover for a ship of npc guardians to come, collect him, and get out of the area.
Everytime you revisit the mission to farm those fusion rifle kills, when your ghost inspects it, you hear something like "a strong guardian has fallen here, data shows his ghost was never recovered, where could it be?" Then the mission proceeds as normal.
It's a basic idea but could work lol.

I figure this is something small, something that won't break the game or cause too much of a fuss with memory or restrictions. Having an entire mission dedicated to him would be sweet!! Then after the mission is complete we could visit his grave site or something. A special location where we buried him on Earth. I'm really digging that helmet idea though. That would be something simple that they could do, and it would show him the respect he should already have.

I think so too, and hell, even a wall of past Guardians could be in the tower, and there could be a cut scene of his name being added to it. Then you can visit it, and read some small back history on different Guardians, the battles they fought, ect. Bump some of that grimoire lore into the game.

There's so many possibilities for them to do.. A wall of past Guardians would be really neat. I like that idea. You could select which Guardian to read about, and that from there you could access that Guardians grimoire! I like it a lot! Hopefully they read these and get some ideas.
