Salty's are creatures that have undergone the saltification process and they roam the salt storms looking for wavering travelers to convert to their cause

yesterday, at 4:00 CST, the tower fell. I was helping out with the deep space monitoring station located in Jupiter's orbit, making sure when oryx arrives the tower can be warned about his arrival. A distress signal came online from 2 locations, a faint signal from freehold station and a strong signal from the tower. we checked out the tower signal first, and i wish we didn't. it was sounded like a broken chorus of yelling and screaming, with a odd sound mixed in. lord shaxx was sending out a warning to all guardians, dont go to the tower. it cut off after a male scream erupted. the strong signal came from a subway tunnel located in the freehold station area. it was fire team omega sunset, relaying information about an unknown salt based organism seeping out of the walls. We told them to quickly return back to the D.S.M.S, due to the fact the tower has fallen. 3 hours have passed and omega sunset has not returned, and morality is draining. most of the guardians want to venture into the tower in hopes to find survivors, but the rest of us think it would be a better idea to remain safe within the D.S.M.S. what ever you do, do not go to the tower. (this was a very fun post to reply to XD)

Edited by Haymantn: 8/15/2015 2:55:00 AMI walk the destiny forums fire blazing still the saltys have made there way to community now it won't be long before feedback and recruitment fall aswell I found a couple of water canteens but much else I then went to the tower the staff all lay dead some were shot some beaten to almost nothing I made my way to the hanger and into the bar and heard a faint wince there was xur shot so much he only had a few seconds of life and gave me his cloak he said wear it well I promised to avenge him where he then died a cat was there black and white paws jumped on my shoulder I'm making my way back now with a few more bottles I found -end entry-
