Yeah I mean people who already had the Ghorn are pretty mad that Xur was selling it, but with people who have bad luck at RNG, this was amazing. With the Ghorn patch coming to where is this going to lead?

Xur selling Gjallarhorn just confirms to me that it will be nerfed into oblivion by the time TTK comes out. It will be like trying to kill Skolas with a Suros Regime as it is presently (i.e. nerfed to hell) On the plus side, though, TTK will have its own cache of OP, broken heavy weapons to replace GHorn. I'm not one of those players who expects to be using the same guns as the years roll by in Destiny. Change is good : )

Every player should have access to gear. The loot system is broken and XUR is an easy fix to the grinding issue. Im glad. I spent almost a 1,000 hours and never got it. I missed out on it the first time due to my jobs demanding schedule. People are rubbing the "Xurner" in my face and quite frankly I don't care. They're the toxic part of the community that gives the greater good a bad reputation.

The bottom line in [i][b]nobody[/b][/i] earned this weapon. The only exotics that are earned are the exotic bounties. All exotics should be earned this way. RNG is fine for legendary gear, but the exotics should be obtained the same way Thorn and Bad Juju are.

3 RepliesI've grinded and grinded the nightfalls with all 3 characters for weeks now (lvl 32 titan and hunter dont judge) and got nothing worth my while. Then here comes Xur with the perfect weapon that I've been waiting for. AND I havent gotten Light Beyond Nemesis yet so thats a plus too. I'm a now proud owner of the Ghorn

Eh I care and don't I talked to my friend about me and him are year one players and I showed him he was like no way why did they do that? We worked so hard to get five of them and no he's just going to hand it out for 17 strange coins? Not even 50 or 75 just 17 I don't care just like come on now people need to grind for this game like we did in the beginning no one knows how hard it was to get an exotic or to get to level 30 back then or how hard it was to do VoG. You level 34 scrubs in a week people have it easy back then us stuck at level 29 people know what the struggle is and now that's disappointing but idc lol it's going to be crap anyways when TTK comes out. I'm just glad I earned my five like a true guardian instead of buying it from xur.

I got tied of hearing everyone complain about it. I had one drop and just bought 2 more for my other toons. Now you will see if all those players who said "all I need is the horn to be good" live up to there words. Level playing field now. No more "your only good bcuz of the horn."
