You're going to have to let her do her. If you want to have the best chance at rekindling anything between you two, the best you can do is be there for her no matter what.
Put aside the fact that you're head over heels for this girl, and be there as whatever she needs you to be. If she doesn't end up liking you back, that's the way it is. Would you rather be her friend or lose her altogether? I know what I'd choose.

Thank you. I was five days late when I asked her out. Instead, she got picked up by a cheater. I feel like a loser because it took me two weeks to get the courage of asking her. I could've spared her virginity.

All you need to do is let her know that you're there for her. Nothing more, and nothing less.

That is what I did, but I came off very pushy towards the relationship, in my opinion. I found myself good with arguments, whether they use force or logic and words of wisdom. I, obviously, did not talk shit, but I came to comfort her and told her how I'd never do anything to hurt her and I'd be so happy to have someone so beautiful from the inside and out. I think going a bit above and beyond may cost me.

Yeah... That might not have been the best idea, but you can downplay it by being just a friend. Talk to her like a human being instead of putting her on a pedestal.
