Please and thank you
Edit: not pvp, to save the salts from flowing
So, while doing PvE your helmet would not display to you or the team.
While in PvP, you and the team wouldn't see it, the enemy would.
It's kind of funny how many people are incredulous about the dynamics of breathing on planets that are terraformed by a giant mechanical light infused god while using magic and fighting time manipulating, organic robot aliens.
No helmet on the moon!? You can't breath!! Stop the presses, fantasy just crossed the line.

1 ReplyThe moon wasn't given an atmosphere, just more gravity. On Mars it keeps the sand out of your eyes. Then Earth and Venus are all stunk up by the Fallen so we need the fresh pine scent our masks exude to cover it up.

I think people are coming around on this idea.

Edited by Lord Fried: 8/13/2015 6:03:56 PMIt's all fun and fashionable until a dreg smacks you in the face and you lose several teeth. But then the Vanguard's health insurance plan doesn't cover dental and you have to spend two weeks farming the exclusion zone and then end up having to get a loan from Xur to pay the dentist. But then you can't pay Xur back and he sends his goons after you. You then end up with more broken teeth, broken bones, exotics taken away and no money. No thanks.

3 RepliesI like my helmet...

I support this idea. To the people spouting on about how you can't breath or anything on other planets. Its simple, while you're wearing it, the helmet simply becomes transpernt. So you still have it on, and can still breath on different planets. Its just see through now. You can even toggle its transperancy on and off. <3

31 RepliesEdited by KidSixXx: 8/13/2015 3:07:35 PMHelmetless in battle in places located on Mars, Mercury, the Moon, and soon the moons of Saturn and maybe Jupiter's moons in future story. Helmetless in battle in places where Humans and Awoken cannot survive without enviro-suits. and where Exo would need protection from environmental hazards even though they don't need to breathe or eat. This is why summer vacation should only be 30 days long.

I really wanna choose to wear my helmet whenever. Even in pvp and pve.
-
I guess I'd be fine with having an option to remove helmet in battle. I personally wouldn't sacrifice my helmet's perks, and incur the negative impact to defense rating and cooldowns, just for looks.
-
1 ReplyExotic helmet: The Wide Horizon Class: all Appearance: invisible helmet Perk: further increases the amount of primary, special, and heavy ammo
-
1 ReplySo we made it to wear helmets in non combat areas and now want no helmets in combat areas. Backwards as h***
-
-
I think you should be able to but you should lose the armor perks that go along with it. That way you can seem like a badass when you roll without it
-
Thank OP for the funny as shit last paragraph. Made my morning
-
Oh fck! Peeps going crazy over this? But space magic, infinite rez and shit are totally legit.

5 RepliesAs long as you lose the stats/perks from that armor piece... . which would drop your level significantly.
-
only if i gets to wear my new mouth guard and spowts cup. gots to keep my smile and babies safe from da tewwoists!
-
Edited by The OathKeeper: 8/13/2015 3:05:16 PMThis would only work with exos like the Stranger. Humans and awoken would die like Arnold Schwarzenegger at the end of Total Recall.
-
3 Replieslol why? then 1 headshot from any gun would be one hit kill.
-
Doesn't make sense
-
6 RepliesThat would be a problem if you were on the moon, venus, or mars unless you were an Exo
-
3 RepliesLol but then the cabal will whack our heads

6 RepliesAm I really the only one that wants this?

9 RepliesI don't understand the benefit.

2 RepliesOnly if you headshot people their heads explode. A la gears of war
