Hi now before every body starts telling me to buy a ps4. I've been having this problem with my 3 xbox one controllers lately I haven't been able to play anything with out it disconnecting within 5 min of gaming. I can only play when the play and charge kit wire is plugged in. Is anyone else having this similar issue. It's really frustrating that since last month this has been happening. And yes the battery pack is fully charged as well
Edit: my xbox is located on a shelf close to the floor and I play on my bed which is high so I'm not facing the xbox. But I haven't got any problems until recently. And again batteries aren't the issue. I appreciate everyone that commented and is throwing a few helping hands. Thank you. Hope I can find more solutions
Edit: all 3 of my controllers are up to date

Once I was doing undying mind and it shut off completely. The controller was on and I couldn't move at all for some reason. We were at the end and everyone rage quit. They weren't to happy with me. 😢

2 RepliesMy mates ps4 controller did it to him last night, first I've heard of it happening on either console

I have the same problem it's just the Xbox being glitchy. Sometimes when it does it for me I can't hear sound after it reconnects. Then I have to hard restart my Xbox to fix it. I know it's annoying.

2 RepliesIt's a common problem nothing wrong with your console other than the fact it's an X1 Don't know the cause of it but Microsoft do say about the control being near a wireless routers Some have had the problem fixed with an update while others got the problem from the same update so it's just something that needs to be ironed out Funny thing is it can happen to groups of people at the same time

1 ReplyUpdate your controllers.

1 ReplyTry replacing the batteries. I had that problem on my 360.

1 ReplyHave you updated them? Checked for updates? Settings > Accessories (I think)

3 RepliesWhatever receives wireless signals for your xbox may be going out. When I first got my x1 it wouldn't connect to anything wireless including the controllers and Internet so I had to send it back and they sent me a new one.

Only 2 times one day after other controller wouldn't connect for while. But when it did it stayed on. Pissed me off those 2 days. It's better now tho so it should pass

1 ReplyI've had that issue before, doesn't happen all the time just every now and then

Power off your Xbone and unplug the power brick, wait 30 seconds and plug It back in and turn it on, resync your controllers and hopefully that works

Had that problem with 360(loose battery pack) , not xbox1, but lets face it, they're not exactly of the highest quality these days. It will only change if it effects Microsoft's bottom line$$$$$$$$$

Hmm. I know the xb1 controllers can occasionally have connection issues. Though I can't see all 3 of your controllers having the exact same issue like that. I say try using some AA batteries for a day or 2. The issue might be a faulty battery pack, since it doesn't do that when it's charging. If the AA batteries don't give you any issues, then the battery pack is probably faulty and you should invest in a new one (refund or warranty if possible). Other than that, the only other thing I can think of (other than you having 3 faulty controllers) would be that the space between the console and the controller is obscured. The xb1 controllers have rather weak sensors compared to the 360, anything that could block the signal, probably is. Even facing the controller away from the console can occasionally give issues (from a certain distance usually).

1 ReplyWait, is the controller losing connection or is it turning off? If it just loses connection then it should still be on, The light should blink. If it just turns off you might have another issue.

I don't have an Xbox One but I've heard that some controllers have had connectivity problems. https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxone/comments/2p2vx8/controller_keeps_disconnecting/
