So many already listed. It's time people just realize that Destiny is a 3rd rate MMO with 1st rate shooter qualities.

  • It's not massively multiplayer so it isn't an mmo of any rate.

  • It isn't a third rate mmo because it isn't an mmo.

  • You can't argue that it's not at least partially an MMO. It's Massive, because of the shared areas and player base you interact with. It's Multiplayer. It's Online only. It's an MMO by standard simple definition, not to mention the gear and skill progression that are classic staples of an MMO.

  • You don't understand what MMO means obviously, just like every other person that calls it one. But destiny is very much not an MMO by definition.

  • Ok keep thinking that. I'll let you continue to fight the definition of the term.

  • Dude it's simple, MMO'S support a massive number of players simultaneously in a persistent online world/universe. It must do that in order to be classified as MMO. Destiny does not support a massive number or players simultaneously and it isn't a persistent online world/universe, so the 2 things required to make an MMO are both absent in Destiny. So how could anyone with any sort of logic call it an MMO?
