I've seen clips and I didn't see damage out out that seemed like it would trump the gjallarhorn. But you're right about one thing for sure gjallarhorn is getting nerfed so who knows. Maybe the Spartan laser will be better. I know it's called the sleeper simulant. :) can't wait to get it
