Anyone else pull out their ARs in crucible??
I started seeing a lot more AR activity in the crucible (myself included) after the buff announcement was made. Found myself going toe to toe with TLW, hawk moon and thorn.. And actually winning some of those encounters. Granted, this isn't due to the buff.. Trying to adapt my play style to using these instead of the current HC, shotgun setup.
EDIT: this influx gives me hope that the future crucible will be less frustrating HC shotty meta and a lot more balanced. Fingers crossed
EDIT 2: I'm surprised at the amount of people who are already using them and even more surprised at how many say they enjoy it. In the end.. I'm all about changing it up and making sure to HAVE FUN with it all. Cheers, Guardians.

I usually play with HardLight (waiting to get Monte Carlo), but i can use almost any ARs (low/mid RoF and high/mid impact)

3 RepliesI dismantled my old monte carlo and nlb and got both again recently. I may wait and see how they do after patch. Then probably dismantle again lol. I still have hard light and slightly prefer it over monte

It's not the best, but it performs solidly enough as a support weapon when sticking close to teammates. I'm really hoping TTK really breathes new life into AR's and makes them more viable in competitive environments.

I set aside a e-light for it. Only guns I truly miss are my solar/void Swarms, my void Comedian and... :*( my Lord High Fixer. That was one beast of a HC. I'll still use HC in crucible when I play it but I don't lower myself to scrub standards and use "those" HC. "Those" we're fun when I first got them months ago. The novelty wore off. The weapons patch coming is much needed and much appreciated. I've never wanted a nerf but those two HC need to be taken down a notch and I don't think they're taking them down enough. You should not be killed before you can react from some chump camping across map spamming his Thorn or TLW.

5 RepliesUsing Monte Carlo with Aggressive Ballistics Send It It hits 20s to the head and has a surprising range to it. The stability is manageable and I have killed many a Thorner.
