PvP players using the TLW and Thorn.
If you play PvP and dont use the tlw or the thorn you understand that it takes no skill to use those two weapons and it just makes pvp experience hell and not want you to play. It takes no skill to use either hand cannon youre a 34 rockin the last word and tea bagging kids after a close range battle? Good for you bro. Learn some skill kids out there using the hand cannons pull out a scout or a pulse for once in your life.
Dear Destiny you granted the noobs a pvp gun for them that requires no skill.
Yes ttk is less than a month away. Obviously itll be fixed.

I bought this game, I used the Vex when it was OP, i used suros when it was strong, and now I use thorn and last word. Why? Because I will play how I want and I play better with OP weapons (obviously) so if I play better I'm happier, so I will use the weapons I want for the game I bought. Thanks though

And when Last Word range is nerfed, but hipfire aim assist is buffed you're still gonna be pissed with I kill you in a split second. This games maps are too small for the range nerf to make much of a difference. Especially on small maps like Cauldron and even maps like Firebase Delphi, you're gonna hate it.

As long as you switch it up a bit, using an exotic every now and then isn't too bad.

If it takes no skill to use TLW than go into control using TLW and drop 56 kills and over 10,000 score.

11 RepliesAnd what primary am I supposed to run with a sniper so I can handle shotguns? Or do I switch to a mid/long range primary like The Messenger and equip a shotgun? Either fools are going to give me grief for using TLW or for using a shotgun. I guess I could just lose every CQC engagement because I stubbornly and deliberately choose loadouts that leave weak spots, just so your fee fees aren't hurt.

It's only so they counter the stupid amount of shotguns in the game. My theory is; which I hesitate to say out of disgust. When they reduced the effectiveness of auto's it pushed the users to pick up a shot gun, which in turn made a lot of scout and pulsers to use the handcannons.

All though I don't use either (except when TLW was my only exotic) I dont agree with you on TLW. Thorn is trash, and you're bad if you use it (usually) but TLW is a gun specifically made for short combat. The update it is getting is near perfect. I think there should be a gun to combat shotguns and other close range combat tactics. There is a perfect way to out maneuver a TLW and win every time [spoiler]Don't get so close, use your range[/spoiler]

The past few months I havn't played destiny much, barely have gone into the multiplayer, but The Last Word was and is one of my favorite guns, thw cosmetic style of it, the custom swap to it and firing animations, I'm a fan of old Western movies so The Last Word is perfect for me, I don't use it as a crutch or for cheap kills, ever since house of Wolves I barely used it in multiplayer, I used it for the pure joy and nostalgia it brings to me, therefore I am glad that it is undergoing changes with the taken king comes out because it will still be just as good if not better if you use it the true way it was intended for use, it'll show that it will need skill to use because it won't be as good aiming, it will bring out the true Hip Fire skill needed to lamd those head shots and to be the deadliest guardian with it, not just free kills cause the Time to kill is really fast. So after the weapon update I'll be glad when it gets fixed because I love using it hip fire and it won't be seen as much in Crucible. Until then have fun Guardians.

Well sorry for following the meta and using the weapons with the fastest TTK, not like I want to be on even ground with all the other exotic HCs and blink shotgunners in the crucible.
