I mean fair enough it wasnt the best voice acting in the world, but to remove all of his content from the game seems a bit harsh.
Edit: So apparently it was Peters own choice to stop voicing for Destiny and its expansions. I honestly thought the negative feedback caused bungie to put an end to him voicing the ghost.
And yes of course the dude makes tons of money but if I was asked to voice something and they would replace my work with someone else I would be devastated.

Lol You are the weakest dink. Goodbye

-
Nope.
-
He got paid
-
I am sure that it was just a job to him to record those lines, and whatever happens happens...
-
Make a Peter sinkage Easter egg. He will always be remembered regardless
-
Look at it this way new players would be she'll shocked by half way in the game pow there ghost decided he wants to sound better it could mess with people and ruin marriages man you don't even know

6 RepliesEdited by Brokenspade: 8/11/2015 8:05:24 AMI feel like they are being a bit short with him. I mean he is by know means a small bit player. It's true his dialogue was only a tiny part of a much larger world but even so. They didn't have to half size his contract and toss him out on the street.
seriously tho I love the dinklage. Guys freaking hilarious
2 RepliesHe took the money and said I don't wanna do this shit for ten years!
-
Are you kidding? Most actors would KILL to have their embarrassing roles redone by someone else and then magically updated to every single existing copy of the original project.
-
8 RepliesNah It's better they employ someone that can reach the mic anyway
-
I'll never feel bad for a millionaire.
-
3 RepliesFeel bad for the guy that makes millions of dollars, has been in many movies, and was payed to voice act for destiny? Yup, totally.
-
I will miss him as my ghost.
-
Edited by Live25: 8/11/2015 2:01:58 AMGod no, he finally extracted himself from probably the worst role he's ever accepted. I'm glad he could tolerate 'Little Light', but that was way over the top.

4 RepliesAm I the only one who actually likes Dinklebot?
-
1 ReplyThis is how sad I imagine he was...
-
Not really, he quit by choice. Having a ghost change dialogue and voice suddenly through the campaign would confuse a lot of players. Not everyone who plays destiny keeps up to date with it on the forums, YouTube videos, etc. it was smart of Bungie to do that
-
I'm just upset because now I won't get to call my ghost "Dinklebot"....
-
No, he got paid for a half assed performance, and took his money and ran Nolan North actually cares about voice acting, I can't wait to replay the main story with North Bot.
-
I thought it was really funny
-
He's already on one of the most successful shows on HBO and probably makes more than most of us will sw in our lives, why should we feel bad?
-
He is an incredible actor, and anyone whose seen Game of Thrones, and watch more than the sex, knows this. Clearly not a great voice actor though or not given a good script (I'm inclined to think the latter).
-
Nope he sucked
-
They said they needed someone more available and who could come as soon as they needed him. They didn't get rid of him because of negativity.
-
I didnt think it was as bad as people said. Some of the lines were just stupidly written
