Gender is not a social construct, despite what you hear people say. Your gender is actually predetermined by your brain. For example, people born with ambiguous genitals are often just given female genitalia because it's easier to make than male genitalia. Weird part is that these people raised as women rejected their females given personalities over 50% of the time. These people were raised as female and had no reason to believe they were male. It's because their brain already predicted what gender they would be, society doesn't actually choose gender. Op you're most likely trans phobic but you really shouldn't be. Transgender people don't actually choose what gender they want to be. You'll usually hear people say "gender is a social construct so they can choose whatever gender they want" This isn't really the case. You'll also hear people say "Trans people know that they're trans from a young age" This is strange because it kinda contradicts the first statement... Transgender people also have their gender predetermined by their brain. Someone can have a brain that tell them to be female yet they have a male body. They're not just playing make believe, they're not just wanting to be special snow flakes, (this obviously doesn't apply to all people. You have people pretending to be black for crying out loud) and they really didn't choose to be that way. It's just who they are and yo judge someone for a choice they did not make is the same as racism, sexism or being homophobic. And being homophobic is for fgts. Now back to your original quote. A boy playing with girls toys isn't going to be get confused to change gender, that just simply isn't how it works.
