I walk slowly to where it rests in the ground. I reach out towards the hilt. As I grasp it, I remember what I've lost forever. My grip tightens as my hunger to avenge the ones I've lost gets a hold of me. I pull out the sword with a sadistic grin on my face. It's time. The shadows will be waiting.
