Over the course of history we have about 1.5 million deaths, that number is inflated because of the civil war.
-
Yeah I guess 1.5 million isn't that many people which makes it ok to do shit like this right?
-
1.5 million over the course of almost 300 years is next to nothing, considering 300,000 didn't even fly the American flag. By all means it's okay, they fought for freedom of speech. The flag does not represent the soldier it represents the country and putting it in flames is representative of solidarity in a conflict with something the country is doing.
-
It's still an enormous disrespect to not only to the soldiers but the country as a whole. If you don't like the country that's fine. There's plenty of other places to live.
-
Ah the old, "if you don't like it you can live somewhere else" rhetoric. Our founding fathers were all about dissent and freedom to protest. It's a flag dude, a piece of fabric used to identify the country; if a flag can get people so butt hurt then we really need to refocus our priorities as a nation.
-
You must have no respect for your country
-
You must have no understanding of freedom of expression. You must also be quite biased in your nationalism to assume that I burn flags. Finally you must be not understand United States history or anything about our founding fathers.
-
Lol srry i commented on the wrong post. I hate doing this on mobile. Chill brah
-
Sike forget you piece of trash racist british u dont even live in america
-
You're right. Our founding fathers were about being able to protest. Now I would say blatant disrespect to the flag while also looting, vandalizing, murdering etc is not what they had in mind. There's thousands chomping at the bit to get into this country so why live somewhere you hate? Just my take on it.
-
I do not support looting or anything related, protests should be peaceful but by no means ban a way of protesting. Burning the flag isn't a sign of a hate, just a sign of disagreement. You can disagree with someone but not hate them. Our founding fathers had the ideals that anything goes as long as it doesn't impact others pursuit of happiness.

How is burning a symbol of a country not a sign of hate?!? What more do they have to do to it shit on it, pour acid all over it and molest the remains? Lol. In all seriousness though how is burning something representing a groups ideals not a sign of hate?
