Why do people judge skill based on k/d?
THIS GAME IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE COMPETITIVE.
It means nothing, somebody could either not [u][i]always[/i][/u] try...or they used to be bad and now they are beasts.
If you think I suck at crucible play me in rumble and I promise I will win everytime.
Play 10 or more matches with me and I promise I will come in first everytime.
I average a 2.0+ k/d every game I try in.
K/d means nothing.
Edit: Alright fine, anybody that maintains below 1.0 kd is bad...if you are in the 1.0-2.0 you could play like a 3.0 k/d player. It all depends.

1 ReplyPTFO or GTFO!! KD means everything in deathmatch so go play there you sweaty try hards. Stay out of the objective based modes because all you do is ruin it for your team.

Ok honest question. When I'm just screwing around I do like .6--2.0 whish isn't good obvioisly. I don't use any op weapons usually some random primary a 2 to the morgue and an exodus plan. BUT when I find myself in a lobby of thorns tlw and blink shotguns I give in to the dark side throw on thorn or red death I usually go 1-3 kd. I've tried reviewing film and seeing where I can improve but alot of times I see myself in unavoidable no win situations. No matter how good you are you can't escape someone air mailing a truth through a doorway, or peaking around the corner into gg shot, or 1v1s with a Bladedancer. I do feel like playing as a titan is a big handicap as the aditional armour isn't enough to save you from much, and the supers are only good for a couple kills usually or are countered by every other super in the game.

I don't really know. Im top 15% in Rumble but in control I run different weapons every time really.

skill Is based on K/D as well as other factors, you cannot totally say kd is irrelevant to judge someones playing ability because most of the time the stats are right.

My K/D went down when I started using Hand Canons.... With the exotics I'm as good as I am with PR's (1.5 or so) BUT legendary HC's I suck with... But I'm trying damn it!!!

If I really needed to judge people I check how many Best Around and On The Bright Side medals they have. K/d means nothing given the game type.

I started out horrible never even played pvp before this game so it took me forever to try and fix it. Don't even think I'm at 1 yet. But every match I play I am top 2

I have like a 1.4-1.5 but that's cuz I used to suck I average like a 1.6-2+ in most games now
