Give Titan's Sunbreaker a blink ability?
Why not?
I realize this poll will be skewed because two-thirds of this community doesn't want us Titan's to have it. So, to normalize the poll results... multiply the YES votes by 2.
EDIT: Stop saying Titans are the tank and not agile. Titans can be very agile with the right setup and gear and currently the Warlock owns the tanking crown. You all do play this game, right?
BOTTOM LINE: Blink is without a doubt the #1 defensive evading tactic in Crucible... it's also the #1 offensive tactic to get into position for kills. So, blink is single handedly scoring more points for Hunters and Warlocks. Blink evades death. Blink helps gain position for kills. It's really a two-pronged tactic that negates kills and scores kills. It's far more powerful than many are giving credit to. Titan's are at a huge disadvantage without blink. Of course I'd rather see Titans get a bigger tank, but frankly Bungie is ass-backwards right now, so blink would be the perfect balance. The cheery on top final fact is just for you all to look at the stats... Warlocks and Hunters own pvp. It's not because of their super... it's not because of their melee... it's because of blink. Period. Get real people.
AT THIS POINT... HOPING THE NERF TO BLINK WILL FIX THE PROBLEM.

How about a jump like this, you would point your weapon like blink where you wanted to go, when you double jumped you would move super fast in said directing even in the air. Like a faster catapult.

Play hunter or lock... Titans don't blink. Lore wise this is accurate... Hunters will never get shoulder charge and locks don't get fist of panic. I can say x gun doesn't have _______ feature, why not? Because you need different guns to do different things. This is called balancing (Bungie's aptitude in doing this is not the focus here lol). Classes are the same way, we need them all.

I say no. It doesn't fit in with sunbreaker. Solar blink wouldn't be right to me. If defender or striker had it I'd understand.

I have all 3 characters level 34 and this is extremely biased you want people to vote yes and if they don't you're loosing your shit, might as well have not added no to the poll, I don't believe Titans should blink, if you rely on - character you're bad anyway

I don't think you understand. You're assuming only titans would vote yes, and every Hunter/warlock would vote no. So no, I will not "multiply yes by two" because that's not how it works. I'm a Hunter. I don't like blink, I think it's horrible. If you want blink take your pick of Voidwalker and Bladedancer. Stop complaining.

10 RepliesI main a titan, and while I haven't had any hands-on experience with the sunbreaker all game footage points to a solid "no" to blink on sunbreakers. Their super alone would make it incredibly unbalanced, people moan about blink shotguns, how about blink rocket launchers? That is essentially what hammer of sol is, a rapid fire rocket launcher/repeatable nova bomb with perks that lay down a solar flare and/or heal the titan after each kill not to mention an instant shoulder charge with no sprint required and you think blink is needed? No sir, it is already looking to be the most unbalanced class in crucible and there is no need to add to that.
