Why do all of you. (Yes I have the bones.) enjoy these shit boots? I get the extra jump is pretty cool. But seriously? Your choosing a jump over a 6x damage shot? Or the lucky raspberry? Hell there are so many better exotics to use then those shit boots.
Edit: I have or have gotten all Hunter exotics. So yea I know the raspberry sucks it's just an example guys! (:

1 ReplyBones and raspberry are both amazing for pvp and I live the bones fit pve as you move so fast especially with Mida and max agility with increased control. Fastest and most mobile class in the game. If you play pvp and don't want to use Blink but want to compete, they shit on Blink, no joke. My buddy was using them in trials. Also using shotgun and just ran into the group and started wrecking the teams, same tactic over and over... They couldn't defend against it. Sure in pve it maybe a novelty but they are great IMHO either way bc of the mobility

They also let me play in the Skolas fight as a Blade dancer, while getting to keep a triple jump for easy platforming. What is a "good" exotic is defined by what the situation CALLS for. Are there more VERSATILE exotics than Bones of Eao? Sure. But there are situations (for me) where it is clearly the best armor choice for my Hunter.

2 RepliesPity Cozmo won't reply meaningfully to the topics setting the forums on fire just now, ie year 1 gear and needless pve nerfing. However on topic, the boots are really handy for exploring (assuming you don't hit badly designed invisible walls) & for arc blading across large chasms in Crota's End or VoG :) As with a lot of exotics the usefulness is quite situational, which I quite like.

With these boots you can jump the 2nd bridge in crota with out going to the rock. But there for fun I use them all the time I never wear my hawk mask unless for nightfalls

But yeah, i have it but i too don't ever see the point for it. Maybe in pvp there's some sneaky perches you can snipe from that most players wont expect due to no one having the hops for it before. Idk.

Yeah I think we should get two exotics to wear 1 boot and 1 of the other 3 slots. Most of the boots have shitty/gimmicky effects anyway but look cool as hell.

1 ReplyRaspberry doesn't suck lol the enhance art bolt is much better than an extra jump that doesn't work with blink, plus raspberry offers a heavy bonus and frees the perc slot to have boots with 3 percs

1 ReplyThey're fun to use in situations like patrol where your basically invincible, they are helpful when running the sword on crota, and for me, it was the last exotic I needed. I don't really see where your outrage comes from.
