I took a break from Destiny for about a month. I booted up my Xbox 360 and put in my disk to inevitably install updates and then get back into the swing of slaying some dregs.
Error Code: oyster
Not to be discouraged, I look it up, and proceed to do the following:
1)Power cycle my router.
Oyster
2)Change over to a wired connection.
Oyster
3)I cleared my cache.
Oyster
4)I delete Destiny and proceed to try and reinstall it.
Still oyster, with even more stuff to try and install.
5)Power cycle my 360.
It finally--nope, still oystering.
After three days, I'm tired of the error. I'm frustrated. I'm trying to be patient because I have seen some posts of, "One day it just installed."
Does anyone have any ideas at all? Magical dances? Dark rituals to the Nine? Fetal position? Anything? (Seriously, though.)

Wow, okay, so. I power cycled my router (again) and on the first try, got the oyster error (again). I waited maybe ten minutes after that, looking through my library to decide what game to play instead, when on a whim grabbed the controller, booted Destiny up, and tried again. And in about ten minutes, it had reinstalled Destiny, as well as the latest update without an error. Logged into my Hunter, timidly took a stroll through the tower. Looks like I'm good.
