Hey guys!
Just letting everyone know that this in fact does NOT work under any circumstances. I have extensively tested all the factors that could stop Thorn Dot (even getting on a sparrow won't help!).
Until someone can provide video evidence of this working, don't expect it to :) happy hunting!

Dunno what to say, it's been working for me, and it worked like a charm through rank 5 in IB on all 3 characters on kgnast2 account. Just thought I'd share. If it doesn't work for others, I apologize. But I take two shots, go red bar, immediately get cover, open palm, tap it away, the dot stops ASAP. I see others use this method as well. It's how I learned it. From witnessing it. He was green, he opened his hand to bring up the ghost, then stopped the ghost animation, and he was no longer green. I died from dot right next to him. I couldn't believe it. I tried it next time. Dot stopped.
