No, I'd just life to use my old weapons too, I love my weapons and gear. I always want to make my own choice. Just because I'll have shit tons of weapons from the TTK doesn't mean I won't want to use my Fatebringer (Ascended). It's by choice, I'm demanding everyone needs to use older weapons, some us do...I don't see the BIG issue, if there really is one.

That is not what i would like to see in Destiny in the next 9 years, that a Fatebringer is still one of the Strongest Primary weapons and everyone is still using it. It is time to move on

Fatebringer is easily the most OP legendary pistol in the game and hasn't been dethroned at all, Bungie want that to change and it's their game. If they are turkey your fave developer then you should support and respect their design choice and know that they have a good reason for it.
