People are losing the meaning of the post. It is as follows below.
FOR THOSE WONDERING WHAT THE MERCY RULE WILL BE:
If youre putting your Internet balls down the enemy teams throat then they get to call off the match before its over robbing you of kills, experience, bounties, and possibly more rewards.

You want rewards, xp and kills? You can get them, but now you need to do it against a team that is just as good as yours.

Could be a good thing. If you are in a match vs lag switchers or just poor connection and lagging, it will hurry it along without the need to leave the match.
-
I find this better really. At least the games will be close now.

17 RepliesI'd just like to state a fact about me and anybody that actually has skill (not boosting "skill") I probably speak for a majority of us, (btw I've been playing pvp for the past couple months, not since beta so figure it out) anyway I would much rather have a game where I'm actually competing to keep the lead, where the other players are a challenge and not just something to wipe up. When I get into a game in completely dominating in, I want the other team to quit to get it over with, it's boring, it doesn't get me any better, just shows that the other team is maybe experimenting with pvp. That's a good thing and is it good for them to just get their asses handed to them for 10 min, no why would it, they would probably never play again. Skill based mm is for that reason, so sick elitist jerks don't terrorize the beginners, but boosting is so easy to do if you have a friend that loves pve but you want have him join you to "wreck scrubs". That should never happen, it should be that EVERY pvp match should be a challenge, something to develope a strategy so you can pull through and win, the mercy rule does positive things for everybody, it'll keep me in a challenging match so I can continue to sharpen my skills, and it'll keep the people that just want an occasional casual pvp map, enjoying pvp. And allow them to actually hone their skill so they don't dig themselves into a massive hole like I did when I was exclusive to pve. My kd is somewhat low bc before I fully began to enjoy pvp I dug a 0.1 or so kd over a hundred games if not many many more. This is a game so we can ALL have fun, not for elitist jerks to rain on parades. Cater to the bad no, but provide them with an equal playing field in which they can practice and become better at their own pace, yes. If you have problems with that, it's possible that the heart to have a challenge, the adrenaline pumping rush of winning a game that was won by 100 points, and the desire to beat the best just isn't there... I wouldn't beat up a grade schooler bc they're an easy fight and I could brag about how many fights I win, would you? That's the mercy rule. Seems legit to me, being I've got the heart to take on any challenge whether I get beat or not, but destroying someone is not in my agenda, I will leave before they have to, why bc I KNOW, I CAN WIN

2 RepliesDont care about mercy. Not really fun winning 6 vs 2-3-4... And waste my time. Prefer end it now get the win and next
-
Oh shut up. If your losing by 10000 points then yes mercy. You think if your team drops and its 3 vs 6 that it's fair to continue? No! Your just an inconsiderate jerk who needs to have a beat down in crucible to make yourself feel better. Smh

2 RepliesYa, what happened to taking your whooping like a man? The new generation are a bunch of skinny jean wearing, Justin biber listening pussies.

5 RepliesOr forcing you to earn them against real competition. U fraid?

1 ReplyIts so people wont get into games that theyre losing 15000-3000

3 RepliesI just hope it doesn't effect rumble... No more sum of all tears.

Edited by xbob lv: 8/8/2015 5:38:57 PMThe mercy rule saves the winning team. Once the match becomes a rout the losing team leaves. The matchmaking system can not keep up with the losing team constantly appearing and bailing. The winning team is running around waiting for the timer to count down. Boring!
-
How do you know they are robbing you if experience and rewards? The mercy rule just says if the match i far too one sided it ends it. You still get the win and what comes with it. It just relieves those with balls down their throat from the suffering of going through the entire match.
-
9 RepliesActually I'm quite glad there's a mercy. Unlike you: I face a lot of cheaters in trials and it's a real pain in the arse. As for your vulgarities toward Bungie: just don't be salt bag man. Be the bigger guy and use bigger vocabulary words so that people will actually believe in what you say. You instantly lost me when your post became a rant when started off quite ok.
-
3 RepliesI got some good advice for you OP, chill out! You sound borderline obsessive at this point. this game sure brings out the worst in people. Who cares whether you are any good a Tryhards of Osiris? No one realize this and just play for fun, the game mode is broken and its full of cheaters using lag-switching and glitches to win rendering said wins moot and the credibility of the stats worthless.
-
2 RepliesThere are some things that aren't perfect yes, but if you hate it so much and complain excessively about it then why put yourself through it every time? Stop playing if you hate it so much. No need to get upset and go on crazy rants about something that you can't control.

5 RepliesEdited by WINTER PROPHET: 8/8/2015 5:18:00 AMThe mercy rule that will end crucible matches early, will COMPLETELY SC3W over entire teams every time a player or two quit. The "mercy rule" being applied to crucible matches has convinced me not only does Bungie not play their own game, but the people in charge are the very definition of the word... It was created to discourage cheating not to help looser. Players have been backing out and getting banned for doing it. Now you don't have to back out they will do it for you.

10 RepliesEdited by King Cabb: 8/8/2015 2:17:48 PMIt's just a game dude. Get a life.
Throw some insults at me. Make fun of my K/D. It'll just make you look more pathetic lol. Also, no one with a real life actually cares about video games stats
3 RepliesDisliked/muted, I suggest everybody do the same to this selfish D-bag
-
12 RepliesOh please kid, You are merely top 17% in trials. Your best game mode is skirmish, in which you undoubtedly pubstomp against noobs. You haven't even killed skolas for crying out loud. You may now GTFO.
-
2 RepliesWhat a dumb, hateful post....

1 Reply/Mutes op

3 RepliesYou are very very stupid. It is to speed up the Crucible as if you were actually good, you would know that when you start getting a 4000-7000 lead, everyone quits and it just leads to 15 minutes of cycling in players only for them to leave 5 seconds later.
-
3 RepliesSo you're telling me that if you were in a game getting shit on so hard by supers and heavy you wouldn't rage quit? The mercy rule is made so players don't get shit on constantly for 10 minutes straight and can't do anything about it. Stop being an elitist.

1 ReplyAnd trials isn't crucible, it's trials
