Fallout 4 Help. PS4 or X1?
Hello everyone. I was wondering which console I should get Fallout 4 for. Originally I planned on getting it for PS4 since PS4 always has better visuals but since the announcement of mods on the Xbox One which are not yet confirmed for Playstation, I am unsure which console I should get it for. Thanks for your help in advance.

Play on the console you like the most of its for mods then pc if you like controller and really can't wait Xbox if you like the ps4 it will have mods after xbox

1 ReplyIf you even feel slightly comfortable with gaming on pc and is a fan of mods than an obvious choice is pc of course. If you want to get the most benefits out of it on console then Xbox is the way to go. But then again it's whatever console you prefer man. Some assholes opinion from some forum shouldn't affect it.

Between the two consoles: Either one will do. Mods have been confirmed for both just Xbox gets them first. Nearly all the mods for PC will not work for the consoles. So I would not factor that in.

In this very instance I'd say xbox if PC isn't an option. Correct me if I'm wrong but xbox has said that it will supports mods. Ps at the moment are trying but can't 100% say it will. So if you plan to preorder it then maybe you should wait another month or two and if ps deffinetly have it by then, it we'll be whatever console you prefer to play it on.

3 RepliesDont get it on playstation. Bethesda sucks putting games onto sony consoles so if you can get it on pc for obvious reasons. For some reason sony versions of bethesda games are the most glitchy, which would mean bethesda just doesnt do well with ps software.

I would say PC if you have a controller since playing with keyboards on FPS is really clunky imo. PC opens up easier modding options and cleaner quality. If you want your shit no hassle no wait time then get it on console.

PS4, but only because it's what we play in the big home theater. We're getting BattleFront for PS4 and XB1.

PC But it will be interesting to see how the PS4 version goes seeing as the PS3 was too hard for Bethesda but now the X1 and PS4 are essentially the same.

For Bethesda games, Ps is usually the most glitchy while Xbox is usually the most stable. PC can be modded to perform better though.

Bethesda's games are not normally as stable on PS as they are on Xbox Both versions are going to look the same Mods for PS could come but it's down to 1) if they would work 2) Sony

1 ReplyI read/saw somewhere a while ago that they are not going to optimize the game for PS4. So the Xbox One and PS4 versions will be pretty much the same. I don't know if the bugginess of past Bethesda games will be problematic on the PS4 as it doesn't have any/as much custom hardware as the PS3 did. Also, Bethesda games were always buggy. I haven't met anyone on any platform (including PC) that doesn't have horror stories of Fallout 3/NV or Skyrim crashing 3-4 times a day. I haven't run into as many crashes lately in their games. I've replayed Fallout 3 somewhat recently on PS3 and it crashed once during the main storyline. The Alaska DLC still locks up every 20 minutes though... Not sure if they released a patch that I didn't notice or if I wasn't playing as long or what.

3 RepliesNo one is sure if PS will ever get mods but most assume they will but Bethesda said they want the Xbox version to be the ultimate version of the game. Bethesda has always favored Xbox over other consoles so pretty much any game you buy from them should be on Xbox or PC. NEVER on PlayStation because the games from bethesda on PS are always buggy AF and slow and usually look horrible.
