In a leaked internal memo it's confirmed everyone starts again at level 1, with only a Koshtov and all your exotics are sharded instantly to help you with upgrades. And a small goat companion walks next to you during the story ocassionally headbutting your leg and mainly eating plants you come across. True story.
The speculation hype train is ridiculous. Bungie will formally confirm what they are and aren't doing nearer the time. Presumably in the form of shitty videos with annoying streamers squealing in joy.

I heard the goat headbutts your enemies and does both arc and void damage (the head/horns does arc, void.... comes out the other end). I cannot confirm that though...

I think if he pees on him, that does solar, unless the enemy's weapons do penicillin damage, then it cures the goat... But again, i cannot confirm that...
