It honestly depends on if you like hitting hard but slowly or fast but with bug bites. My Badger CCL is TDB clone of Gheleons Demise. It hits for 1399 in PvE and can 3 shot guardians in PvP if I land 2 headshots. But if fires fairly slow, about a shot every half second if you get your timing correctly.

Have a look at the scout rifle on my warlock. It's a Dark Below vanguard one but the perks on it are amazing. Check it out. I have Ghelions Demise, VoC, Fang, Dead shot luna, MIDA, BL Shadow 701x...etc,etc. That one is by far my favourite tho.

My personal favorite is VoC. Although you can't go wrong with the Fang either. I'm talking PvP here of course. I don't use scouts in PvE so couldn't say there.

PvP or PvE/PoE??? PvE... VoC PvP... Gheleon's Demise (Pre-HoW then HoW) or Zero Point LOTP.

Arc and 27 rounds on Fang give it an edge IMO. The Rapier, Salvation State and the Shadow are all good depending on your style and what is important to you. Don't have a VoC though. So I can't speak on that.

The scholar, that thing melts people in the crucible and can consistently kill snipers.
