Why the Legendary nerf will kill the game for me & others
If you're telling me that I can pour 1,500 hours of gameplay into year 1, only to have all of my personal progress taken away by making everything obsolete, then why will I play 1,500 hours of year 2?
I know for a fact that if you don't allow my year 1 collector legendaries that I love to use be able to progress in damage/armor then I see no reason I should form an attachment or obsession that I had for obtaining every single Prison gear, Iron Banner gear, Queen's gear, Trials of Osiris gear, Vault of Glass gear, Crota's End gear, Exotic gear, and so much more when you're just going to shoot me down at year 3. I simply won't play your game to get the gear anymore. I'll play it to beat the new content, and then I'll play Minecraft or Titanfall because those games will now be more interesting. Then your new DLC will come out, and I simply won't care to get it because I'll know that everything that I will WANT to earn won't be worth it in the end.
You keep talking about your fans in a way that year 1 players will have unique loot that's not available to newcomers like it's a privilege, but in reality it's becoming a burden.

They announce something dumb and shocking as a method to distract the players about all the other things they were already upset about. Then we get a way to make it alright and everyone is a happy clam, no matter how bothered you were about other stuff, it's all forgotten. Not sure if this is what they do but it's like the adding micro translations by making is so people didn't have to pay 80... They only have to pay 20... Yippy, we are happy now... or are we??? I think it's a tactic.

only nerf i dont like is black hammer. that perk was what made the gun worth a shit. its useless now unless you have special ammo and now that will run out after white nail takes affect a few times. hopefully there will be an exotic sniper that doesnt need special reserve to continue firing. all the nerfs and buffs, short off the thorn, seem to all be centered around making PoE, bungies special little gem.... harder than it needs to be. deej and broman failed, live on stream, now we are making skolas our bitch and they have a problem with that

I agree and I'm really shocked! I don't understand Bungievisions point. Pre HoW the Community asked for difference because all player looked similar after beating Crota for example! Same gear for everyone plus weapon! With HoW they did the right step forward and gave us the chance to look different and now again two steps back with TTK? I don't get it!

What's the point of grinding to get this rare iconic loot just to have it become worthless. So I'll just play the story which is currently lacking a story and pvp which is has its issues as well. Feel like they're ruining the best aspect of this game. Which to me is collecting the loot.
