So I'm getting skyrim
What should I do first? (Never played properly before)

Be prepared to lose track of time and put in more time than anticipated into the game. You'll get addicted

Get it for PC. Research some mods. Install mods. Might want to play the first few quests first and get a feel for the game before modding it, but it makes it so much better. And enjoy, it's a really good game.

Dont provoke the giants early on, or if you do, save and keep doing it until you get space-launched. Its well worth seeing! If you want to be a powerhouse, go sword n shield, whichever armour type you prefer (both are ultimately the same, I go with heavy because Daedric Armour/weaponry looks awesome), Smithing and Enchantment, and pump everything into health and stamina. Eventually you'll roflstomp everything! Max shield is a PITA to achieve but the top perk is hilarious to use.

2 RepliesIf it's for the Xbox 360 there is a god mode code out there you can get.....it's fun standing in the middle while all the guards try to kill you. Sorry I shot to many arrows in their knees

Edited by Uriyaal: 8/7/2015 5:04:01 AMFocus on smithing and enchanting, smithing materials are really easy to come by for the early stuff. Also when you do the finale quest for werewolf's block till its maxed, easy quick levels for armor you just need heals.

If u r really in to RPGs then u will LOVE IT!!!! I was not a fan its like all spells and stuff and a lot of weapons.

What I normally do first is focus on getting my blacksmithing maxed out. That way I have good armor and weapons early on. As you blacksmith enchant the items to also max out your enchanting. Easy way to level up and get the best gear.
