2 RepliesI didn't use Swiftwind and Earthcaller in EQ forever just because I worked to get them. Getting them was the fun part, using them was a bonus... New weapons worth using sound excellent, we had a good run VoG weapons, thanks for the memories!

They should have never existed in the first place. But since they did, nothing can ever live up to that. A firefly hand cannon that clears mobs of weaker enemies with arc damage, an infinite ammo sniper with maximum impact that destroys majors or the right boss targets, and a rocket launcher that just nukes absolutely everything. You will not see 15 second Atheon kills, solo Crota / Skolas encounters ever again. And Bungie is going to lose a lot of customers as a result. Not because the game will be "harder", but because nobody wants to feel like everything from here on out is a downgrade. You will never be as powerful in Destiny as you are with these three weapons, right now. Mark my words. So enjoy them while you can. I for one am never going to feel satisfied by a hand cannon without firefly.

Well it's a great plan for duplicates, but I hate that it's this late in the game. Vault space has forced everyone to get rid of anything possible. So it's just more grind. Boring. But not worried about running raids for weapons to dismantle.

Being honest, I just want to bring my Monarchy weapons into Year 2. The Raid guns were nice and all, but please don't take my Vanquisher, Purifier, Vindicator, and Red Hand IXs please.

20 RepliesWho cares about old guns, no matter what you have or where you got them, they have no use in Year 2. Do you keep old shoes that you have grown out of? Do you keep old clothes that you no longer wear, or donate them to charity? Some of you, that are having an issue with the new guns and items, have a serious hoarding problem.

I'm not understanding what they mean by this. Destroy one legendary to upgrade another? What? It would be simpler if they would just say all exotic and raid gear is upgradable for coming years.
