I love the look of some of my gear. I would love the option to either have vanity slots for armour that overrides the look of equipped armour or the ability to transmute armour to keep its stats but change its look to another of the same type. Many MMOs have embraced these concepts to allow players to customize the look of their characters. I think this would make a lot of players happy as we move into year two and still make raid gear sought after for the look. Adding year one and vanilla armour to strikes would give all players access to some of the coolest looking gear I have seen in any game. Anyone with me? Edit: A good point made about exotics by Vuiy. Exotics should not be able to have their look overridden. It is necessary in PvP to be able to see the exotic your enemy is using eg: the ram or armormentarium Edit2: another good point, vanity slots/transmutation would have to be class specific. No one needs hunters looking like titans.
