Perhaps we can have the option to ascend legendary to exotic?
I was just thinking... there are a few weapons we enjoy using (Fate, Fang, VoC, Oversoul etc.) that won't be able to be upgraded when TTK drops. I don't know how much this affects things though. I mean the rating is just a scale to how much damage you carry to things close to your level and higher right?
What if Bungie allowed us to upgrade them but they became Exotics? Or a new category called Legacy? (same limitations as Exotic.) Think that would be fair?
To be honest I think allot of the weapon nerfing and such is to prevent us from just tearing through the new material to fast but until it is here I can't say for sure.

6 RepliesI don't think they should be able to become exotics, that doesn't make much sense, imo. But I do think we should be able to ascend them to whatever the new damage cap is, like HoW did. I just barely got Fatebringer and I'd like to use it longer than a month lol.
